Example Senior Research Project

A unique aspect of the B.S. in Forest Ecosystem Science and Conservation is the senior research project. The student will work with a faculty member during the junior year to develop a research project. During the senior year, the student will collect the data, do the analysis, and write a final paper.

One  example of a past senior research project was completed by Tony D’Amato and Josh Roy during 1999 and 2000. The project investigated the ecology of forest health on Great Cranberry Island.
